Today, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer revealed the complete design alongside the launch date of the upcoming Honor 80 series. The Honor 80 series will launch on November 23 in China. Just like the Honor 70 series, we expect the 80 series to have three phones in the lineup – Honor 80, Honor 80 Pro, and Honor 80 Pro+. Also, These renders are mostly like the Honor 80 Pro, not the regular Honor 80. Now let’s take a look at the Honor 80 Design.
Honor 80 Series Design
Looking at the official teaser of the Honor 80 series reveals that the front of the Honor 80 has a Curved display with uniform bezels all around! There’s a centered punch hole that houses two front cameras. The two front cameras make their comeback in the 80 series as the two front cameras were last seen in the Honor 50 that launched last year. The power button & the volume rockers are on the right, Speaker grill is at the top & bottom. Type C at the bottom. As for the rear design, which carries forward the design language of the Honor 70 series although there are two main differences that differentiate it from its predecessor. First, the rear of the 80 series has a pattern like a wave. Second, the circular rear camera module which houses the triple cameras has chrome all around it which makes it look alike an 8, representing the 80 series. Also, just below the camera module, there’s a text which says 160MP, indicating that the Honor 80 will have a 160MP camera lens. This seems like a custom-based 160MP sensor made out of the available 200MP sensors The honor logo is at the bottom in line with the camera module.
