The App will now have the Dark Mode, popular among apps and online services for which the company said that it will help users “wind down at right time and get a better night’s sleep. Apart from being easy on the eyes, it will also reduce battery consumption. This feature will be turned off by default, users will have to manually toggle it from the app’s setting. Another feature will enable users to get better sleep insights, which is claimed to track their sleeping patterns along with the various activities they do within the day. Users will be able to track their sleeping patterns by connecting Google Fit to their favorite sleep app. Users will be able to see all the insights of their sleeping patterns through charts and will be able to add, edit, or access their sleep history through the journal, the company said. In addition to these two features, iOS users will get an additional new feature added to the app which was available already for the Android. With the new update, the iOS version will also integrate map of its User’s routes. This data will automatically be derived from synced apps supported by wearOS devices and Apple watches. I am personally using Google Fit App for a while now and it is one of the easiest yet effective fitness apps ever. With an easy way to edit, access and upload data, it is one of the best apps. The Dark Mode, in my opinion, is a decent addition as I use this app just before the bed to upload all my activities of the day so it is now very good to have this feature. To take fitness goals one must track his/her sleeping patterns and with the new feature, I can say that this App is now a complete fitness App.
